In celebration, we're taking a look at how the various scenes and locations from the manga were depicted in the game, breaking things down into four distinct themes. For the second part in this four-part series, we're concentrating on some aspects of the game that the development team were dead set on nailing! We'll be introducing some unmissable feast scenes and an addictive minigame that's full of little surprises! Each region even has its own distinct cuisine, making for a delectable diversity of dishes. Of all the sumptuous scenes in Dragon Ball, we're sure you'll agree that the post-fight meals are particularly memorable! Food also plays a crucial role in "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot"! Try your hand—or should we say tail?! The food you eat will boost your in-game stats, so rustling up a balanced diet is essential for success and an important part of training! Nobody does mealtime scenes quite like Dragon Ball! Looking at all this food is starting to make us hungry! Shortly after starting high school, Gohan found himself on the baseball field for the first time in sports class. He stunned his classmates when he effortlessly caught a ball that looked nothing short of a sensational homerun fired off by his classmate, Shapner. Now it's your turn to step up to the plate in the minigame based on Gohan's baseball class in "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot"! But Shapner isn't your only rival—Yamcha, Android 18, and even Vegeta are all waiting to show you who's boss! The keen eyed among you might just be able to spot that, just like in the manga, in-game Gohan also uses a reverse grip!
As for 18, she loves to kill time, so playing "America's pastime" fits her almost too well, and just the thought of Vegeta's competitive nature being applied to kakarot baseball sounds hilarious.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot strives to be the number one video game retelling of the Dragon Ball Z storyline to date, and in pursuit of that goal, the game will cleverly adapt the more filler-like and obscure moments of the series in the form of mini-games. For example, one mini-game will adapt the time Gohan played baseball in high school. This episode isn't as memorable as Goku and Piccolo racing to get their license , so fans who don't remember it shouldn't worry, as many others didn't either. Essentially, Gohan struggles not to draw attention to himself in high school and fails miserably due to being thousands of times more powerful than the other kids. The mini-game references the baseball sequence of the episode and is accurately called "Home Run Game. The more accurately players time their press, the higher the resulting score will be. High scores will award players with prizes, but the clip didn't specify what kind.
Development is the mechanic in which you use all the ores and minerals and machine parts you gather to create, a hover car and a Bipedal walker a huge robotic pair of legs You will also be using development to upgrade these vehicles' stats. For what? Time attack Level up will allow you to feed the machines items such as minerals and machine parts to level them up and increase their stats this way, this also increases the number of chips they can equip. Both vehicles have a max level of 50, however you will need to have the development community at MAX in order to upgrade them to that point. Otherwise they will stop earlier.
