I took the pump off and disassembled it, sure enough, there was a broken piece inside. I do have pictures, but can't upload them here. Bought a replacement pump off ebay and it's as good as new now. Sorry, I'm a serious coffee drinker. Only when I got angry and shook the coffee machine it started to work right.
