What trajectory led you to that point? The timing for me was kind of fortuitous, this being the beginning of all that draconian Internet legislation in Russia. We would also write about different subsegments of Russian Internet culture. I really liked it. I had a beat, essentially, kind of unintentionally. Somebody at Meduza knew me, and by December I was already doing some trial work, and then I was part-time for about a year and a half.
