Keyboard not working on microsoft surface

Ask a new question. About a week after I finally took the plunge and installed Windows 11, my surface keyboard just suddenly stopped working. Occasionally I get a prompt box telling me that the USB device isn't recognised but other than that, I don't really know what to do. Any advice or fixes??
