The inn sits adjacent to the Anne of Green Gables House and just a half hour drive from Charlottetown making it a great home base for exploring the island. While it is not oceanfront, there is a pathway leading straight to the Lake of Shining Waters. The first decision you have to make when planning a trip to Prince Edward Island PEI is where you want to set up your home base. After thorough research, we decided on Cavendish, which has a central location on the northern coast. It is a family friendly area with endless activities for kids of all ages as well as easy access to the National Park and beaches.
