By 50Metals June 8, in Mistborn. This is just for fun, but I did put some thought into it. Like many people, I've come up with a list of the possible effects of each of the 16 alloys of Lerasium. I assumed that Lerasium counted as an internal metal. Thus, I believe Lerasium alloys can be internal, even though the unalloyed metal is external.

Lerasium is notable as it is the condensed power of the Shard Preservation. The only known source were beads found at the Well of Ascension. Presumably, the name "lerasium" is inherited from Leras , the name of the original holder of the Shard Preservation, just as the name atium is inherited from Ati , the original holder of the Shard Ruin. Lerasium cannot be combined with atium to make harmonium , nor can harmonium be broken down into lerasium and atium by normal, mechanical means. For normal people, burning lerasium forges a permanent Connection between them and Preservation, turning them into very powerful Mistborn by rewriting their spiritual DNA. Alloys of lerasium have the side effect of turning those who burn them into Mistings of the alloy used. If someone were able to burn the amount of lerasium needed to become an Allomantic savant with the metal, they would Ascend and become the holder of Preservation, similar to what happened when Vin consumed the mists. Lerasium, when used by a Feruchemist, has unknown properties.
That mixture could do some strange things, though.

If Hoid was to get his hands on "bavadinium," could he alloy it with lerasium and get Sand Mastery? Moonwatcher x Qibli Message Wall. You've seen how hard that is. All I'll say is that he found a way other than changing them genetically to help them survive in the world he created. When alloyed with an Allomantically active metal, it rewrites your sDNA with that metal, making you a Misting. Yes, for instance the God King, right. That is a RAFO. Good question. People think you have seen it already. SageOfTheWise In Allomancy, normal metals are simply a tool that channels Allomancer's already existing Connection to the power of Preservation, which is why non-Allomancers don't get powers from digesting metal. And, to make a Robert Jordan-type comment, what those two metals do should become obvious to the serious student of Allomancy If there were another way to access it, then the metal wouldn't be needed. I've got a list of various Cosmere bits of metal and I was wondering if you would rank them from like one to ten or just easy to difficult on how hard it would be to steelpush on them.

All known samples of Lerasium were created by Rashek when he took the energies in the Well of Ascension another manifestation of Preservation and condensed some of its energies into a solid form. Questioner And I just have a simple yes or no question? And since they were created by Ruin and Preservation, they have the seeds of the Three Metallic Arts in them—though without anyone among them having burned Lerasium, Allomancers would have been very rare in their population and full Mistborn unheard of. I was mostly trying to err on the side of making it exciting for the OP, my apologies. Email enquiries lerasiumgroup. They could exist somewhere else. When Vin absorbed the mists, she gained an apparently unlimited supply of metals and used duralumin multiple times without running out, presumably because the Lerasium replenished her metals. It is true fax. But that was what was going through my mind as I was building those things all out. Allomancy is hereditary, and later generations will also be capable of this ability, although the powers will eventually become diluted.
