Leyndell, Royal Capital is a legacy dungeon located in Altus Plateau. It is enclosed by double ramparts [1] , with the city proper contained within the inner wall. The current lord of Leyndell is Morgott the Grace-Given [2] , a Demigod of the Golden Lineage [3] who took it upon himself to become the Erdtree's protector, despite being born a graceless Omen. Long ago, the city was assaulted by the colossal Ancient Dragon Gransax- the only time in recorded history that Leyndell's walls have fallen. This marked the dawn of the war against the Ancient Dragons. The Fortified Manor , in the south-western portion of the city, is a perfect likeness of the Roundtable Hold. Unlike the Hold, where Tarnished champions gather, the Manor sits abandoned. Far below the city is the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds , a network of sewers and waterways inhabited by the Omen. The Leyndell Catacombs also branch off from this underground realm. Even further below lies the Cathedral of the Forsaken, where a tribe of nomadic merchants were entombed so as to bury the maddening disease that followed them. The Elden Throne sits beneath the Erdtree, in the south-eastern area of the city. It is here that Morgott stands guard, determined to protect the Erdtree from would-be champions. Whilst there are multiple of these items throughout Leyndell, the easiest to acquire is proceeding into the city from East Capital Rampart Site of Grace, and in the room where you first encounter a Perfumer just beyond the lift ride down , climb the ladder, then proceed up the stairs and loot the corpse sat on the chair in the center. With the Seedbed Curse and Sewer-Gaol Key acquired, open the metal gate at the bottom of the well, go down the ladder beyond and follow the waterway into a room filled with 6 small Rats. To the southeast are double doors. Through them, drop off the ledge and on the left-side of the corridor is the Underground Roadside Site of Grace.
