Really good home cooked breakfast. Very nice staff and even when it's crowded it's not that long a wait.

In June, we took a day trip to northeast Alabama. Marie wanted to buy a new tablet from the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, and saved her pennies for a couple of months so that she could get one for really cheap. The path that we took drove us right past three interesting barbecue joints. It is the only restaurant that we have ever heard of to have a cave named after it! Astonishingly, this package store is set up in two rooms of the motel. They are owned by totally different people and just have the same name. On the weekends, they have karaoke in the evenings and the place gets pretty full of people singing and having a great time.

They called it chicken and dressing. Came out runny and disgusting. Asked for bacon well done. As we were leaving they convinced to take some fresh pie with us. The carrots cake was great. The banana cake was completely burned on the bottom and sides and hard. Can't believe anyone would serve that.

Good old fashioned bacon cheeseburger, freshly cooked and served hot with fries. Had the truly homemade Banana Pudding for dessert. Recommended for those who like finding the hidden gems. We went around the square and POOm, there it was in a corner. We found a parking in front of the door. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! We loved the decor and atmosphere. We actually didn't miss their breakfast time we got there about 5 minutes before they quit serving breakfast but they had quit serving breakfast. So we ended up having lunch for breakfast.
