Garmin Panoptix Ice Fishing is the group name. Not sure on livescope?

John Soukup has been using Garmin Livescope longer than most. Soukup is also a professional bass and crappie fishing tournament angler. We asked Soukup to give us a rundown of the 10 best settings for Garmin LiveScope to help anglers get the best looking picture on their units, and be able to see the fish, their lures and the cover in all fishing situations. Noise reject helps filter the information that is coming into your unit from your LiveScope processor and transducer. You will want a little clutter to filter through because you want to be able to see your line and small jigs on the screen and you need some of the information to pass through. But the Noise Reject setting at high will eliminated a lot of unwanted clutter. This is filter information top to bottom to let you see further into the water. Deeper than that and you can start with low.

In this informative video, pro bass angler Cody Huff takes us on a tour of his Garmin LiveScope Plus fish finder while scanning a school of bass in a brush pile. He shows his go-to settings for finding and catching bass in brush piles and most situations in general, including his deep water sharpshooting technique with Rapala Jigging Raps and heavy Jigs. Huff starts by emphasizing the importance of doing a factory reset to get the device back to its default settings before making adjustments. This helps to get you close to the ideal setup for fishing. He also prefers to keep his forward range at around feet. Moving on to the technical side, he goes through his sonar setup menu. Huff prefers noise reject on medium, TVG off, and ghost reject on auto. When it comes to screen color, Huff prefers the blue screen option for bright, sunny days, which helps to bring out the details of the fish in the brush pile.

Ever wonder what your fish finder screen would look like in real time?

It definitely helped me catch fish this past weekend I never would have known about. You can run Panoptix and LS on same unit? Someone just posted livescope ice fishing video. Sorry if that's confusing. Maybe ill put the ps22 back on the troller for scanning and keep the livescope on the stick for detailed work. Ps22 is off the boat. But I don't think the tr22 which scans out and down comes with ice package does. Now off to buy some scratchers so I can afford a setup haha! I know one panoptix there is couple different ones has adjustable degrees if i remember correctly?? Quote from: Iceicemike on Nov 18, , AM. Originally Posted by puhlw.
