This nursing home is designed to suit residents with physical care needs, reduced mobility and more developed stages of dementia. Outside the home we have a gated courtyard with flowers, plants and seating for residents to enjoy where we hold outdoor activities and events. We have secure keypad entry to the various sections of the home to keep residents safe. Inside the home we have a total of 42 single bedrooms across our 3 units which are separated by gender and the level of care needed. Our 2 passenger lifts give residents easy access to their bedrooms and other areas. Our home has 3 spacious dining rooms serving fresh homemade cooking. The activities team organise regular activities to keep residents engaged and support their mental and physical wellbeing. We also encourage visits from friends and family. The assisted bathrooms are equipped with mechanical powered Arjo and Parker Baths, with completely separate showering facilities wet rooms. Our qualified medical team offers hour nursing care to support residents throughout the day and night. We cater our specialist care packages to each individuals needs, monitor care plans and ensure that our residents get the medical treatment and interventions they need. The team offers forever homes for all our residents regardless of the level of support required, managing behaviours in a positive and proactive manner to promote a relaxed environment in the home and ensure all residents have a good quality of life. Downstairs you will find Silver Birch, a 14 bedded specialist unit for ladies. Upstairs we have two more specialist units, an 18 bedded all unit called Oaks for the gentlemen in our care and also a 10 bed nursing care unit called Cedars that is home to residents with all types of dementia and physical care needs.
