Lush lord of misrule

Few beauty brands celebrate Halloween quite like Lush. Walk through the fan-favorite retailer in October and you'll be greeted by pumpkins, ghosts, and black cats, handmade out of sudsy bath bombs and glistening bubble bars. However, this Oct. No pun intended. And in case you didn't know, this is a very, very big deal. Falling in love with Lord of Misrule — a previously limited-edition fragrance that's taken the shape of bath bombs and shower creams — is easy to do; and I'm speaking from experience here. The scent is hyper unique, toeing the line between crackling black pepper and warm, feminine vanilla, with a hint of patchouli that's decidedly Lush. Best use is in winter, so far as I am concerned. Straight away, there are two layers. Very gourmand but grown up. In this regard, it feels like Lush is recycling a few ideas from previous perfumes in Lord of Misrule, most notably the bright, Coca Cola-ish marmalade-myrrh accord from Kisses Deep and the burnt sugar notes from All Good Things. Just like all of our products, we use beautiful, high quality, ethically-sourced essential oils in our candles. In the winter, the warmth is very comforting to the nose. A gorgeous fragrance, perfectly pitting patchouli and vanilla against each other. The opening smells like black pepper but only if you imagine a handful of black pepper powder being blown at you through the sweet, glittery miasma of mica and minerals that hovers around the bath bomb wall at Lush. Both dry from patchouli and pepper and sweet vanilla and caramel. Sauvage Christian Dior

Ik schrok toen ik zag dat ik deze klassieker nog nooit had gereviewd!

Celebrate the change in seasons with familiar notes of mischievous black pepper, earthy patchouli and sweet vanilla. Of course, the simplicity and lack of any real blending beyond getting the notes to play along is going to turn up already up-turned noses, but they never spent any time listening to Pink Floyd under a blacklight after hitting a bong, so they wouldn't have the perspective to appreciate what's going on here. New Lord of Misrule Candle. Rentless Lush The patchouli is hiding out in the heart, but it is so heavily bookended by the sharp pepper and the syrupy amber that, for the first hour or two, it is easy to miss. This is gorgeous.
