Malabar is a family business that is based in Saint-Paul since It started out as two young brothers, Eric and Bruno, arrived in the village thirty years ago with a passion for food and a plan to run a restaurant together. Bruno in the kitchen and Eric in the service. After a few years, Bruno went back to his home city, Bordeaux, to start a new career path and Eric took his place in the kitchen. Having no experience whatsoever in the cooking department, he spent hours researching recipes and trying new things.

Enjoyed dinner here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The crab cakes were delicious, loved the homemade remoulade sauce. Service was decent not exactly a fine dining experience but it could be with a little more attention to detail. June Unfortunately for such a great land mark the food just didn't match up. My Dans chicken was okay , the mashed potatoes were dry and the broccoli was hard and cold. Our friends also had dry mashed potatoes with her chicken marsala. The lamb was okay unfortunately mint jelly was not an option on the menu.
