The new outlet has been in the pipeline for almost two years, with planning consent eventually granted in December It will bring 84 full and part-time jobs to the town, with the company launching its recruitment drive in January Once open, the restaurant will operate with just drive-thru and takeaway service only, in line with Government guidance during the lockdown. It will feature two electric charging points for customers, and once dine-in options reopen, customers will be able to access table service and either order on their phone, at the counter or at one of the screens. The news comes as construction began on a new retail park across the road from the new McDonald's drive-thru. The retail park, at Ransom Wood, will boast a Costa Coffee drive-thru and Nottinghamshire's first Greggs drive-thru , as well as other business space.
