As someone constantly testing out new workout methods and equipment, I was eager to take the MaxiClimber for a climb the first time I saw their machines on social media. The promise of a full body burn by simply alternating between pushing the foot platforms down while pulling up the handles sounded almost too good to be true. Having heard so much hype around the MaxiClimber and seen the transformations people claimed from using it, my expectations were sky high when I brought one home to try. With basically just a steel frame, two handles and two foot platforms, it lacked the flashy bells and whistles of decked out machines I was used to testing. The simple up and down motion was immediately more intense than expected. As I alternated pushing the platforms smoothly down then pulling my body upwards with the handles, I felt my glutes, quads, calves, biceps, shoulders and core firing on all cylinders.
