Or alternatively see whether you are anywhere near and Cotswold 'rockbottom' stores, they always seem to have reasonable deals. Also, I've found that their gear is sized for your average armchair enthusiast, whereas the more technical brands tend to tailor their gear for a more active fit. However, given that Mountain Warehouse also set the RRP, it's obvious that the product isn't worth anywhere near the high price.
