I figured it was time to add Michael Steele to the lineup of Wonder Women, and make sure her story was part of No Treble. Steele was already a veteran bass player by the time she joined The Bangles. Initially going by Micki Steele, she was one of the founding members of the Runaways, one of the original all girl rock groups. Which kind of sucks. In , Michael became the bass player for the band Eyesore; this gig only lasted for four months. Moreover, Michael did a guest stint in fellow The Bangles band member Victoria Peterson 's group, the Continental Drifters, in which she filled in for primary bassist Mark Walton. On November 21, , Steele made a public appearance singing lead vocals on two songs at a Sandy Denny tribute show at St. Ann's Church in New York City.
