Ask a new question. I have a LifeCam 1. The Software provided with it is no help. Most programs created for earlier versions of Windows will work in this version of Windows, but some older programs might run poorly or not at all. Right click the driver installation file and select Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab. Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box. I tried updating the drivers; but it says "Windows could not find driver software for your device". Driver Details says "No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device". No matter which Operating system you are using. If you will follow the steps provided above it will show you the lower version of operating system to run the application.
