Minthara companion
The evil Drow Minthara companion was previously only recruitable if players raided the Emerald Grove in Act One, effectively locking out good-aligned characters from experiencing her story. Before Patch 5, good-aligned players had to rely on workarounds to recruit Minthara. It was briefly possible to recruit Halsin and Minthara togetherminthara companion, but this was later patched out.
One of the most interesting things about Baldur's Gate 3 is the absolute freedom of choice that it gives players - and the consequences that follow each and every choice. Building your dream party can take a little effort, and one of the most popular but hard to obtain party members is Minthara. Before the Patch 5 update, getting her on your side either required an entirely Chaotic Evil run of the game or a convoluted mess involving Polymorph abilities. Thankfully, it's now a lot easier to find and recruit Minthara without the need for utter carnage. The steps for this recruitment are still somewhat fiddly, though, so make sure you follow the steps given exactly. The first time that players will meet her is during the questline that involves rescuing Halsin from the Goblins.

BG3 Minthara can be found at Shattered Sanctum. Minthara is a ruthless Drow that is preparing an assault on Druid Grove. Bosses in BG3 are powerful enemies that have increased health and pose a bigger challenge for players. Siding with her allows the opening of the branching storyline that allows Tav to side with the Goblins and start the Quest Raid the Grove which may lead to recruiting her in Act II. Rescuing her there will allow you to officially recruit her as a Companion. Otherwise, siding with the Tieflings and killing the goblins will have you kill Minthara as well. The same result will come from siding with her first and successfully initiating an intimate night with her and then failing to convince her of your shared affiliation with the Absolute later on. To complete Minthara's Questline , you must first meet her in Shattered Sanctum. Though not her personal quest yet, Raid the Grove is a very important step to complete as failing to complete it will prevent the option to recruit her in the future. In this Minthara Romance Guide, we explore the general path toward gaining Minthara 's approval and what opportunities you have to share some moments with her. This will be updated as more is revealed throughout the game.
