Since I want to practice my art I'm going to create this book, miraculous characters. My art is bad but I still want to share.

Shivam - Updated Nov 27, However, this was not very surprising given that the US has always been obsessed with superheroes; as is evident with the earth-shattering success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the country. While the success of the series could have been imagined courtesy of the superhero spin to it, it still proved to be a pleasant surprise to many of its American viewers; primarily because a female superhero named Ladybug was spearheading the show. Ladybug is a teenager who tries her best to balance her dual life; one as Marinette Dupain-Cheng and the other as a true-blue superhero. Her "partner-in-crime" happens to be the charming Cat Noir, whose real name is Adrien Agreste. He is also someone Marinette cares for secretly. They come together to deter Hawk Moth; a villain who would go to any extent to seize their Miraculouses - the source of their respective powers - for his personal gain. As kid-friendly and exciting as the content may sound, the political intrigue and shady mood of the animated series may have helped it strike a chord with the adult audience as well. So, without any further ado, let's take a look at some of the most popular characters of this highly adventurous series; one that attempts to show how two Parisian teenagers with supernatural powers fight supervillains to save their beloved and beautiful city. One of the central characters of the series, Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a teenager who not only aspires to be a budding fashion designer but is also the meritorious commander of the Miraculous superhero squad. She is a soft-spoken and cheerful individual who happens to be admired in her circle because of her unquestionable intelligence. The girl also likes Adrien Agreste immensely but fails to confess this to him due to her shy and awkward nature. In fact, she's often even found to be nervous in his presence. Therefore, with the assistance of her kwami, Tikki, she is able to alter into the brave and confident superheroine "Ladybug", who strives to defend Paris from Hawk Moth's miscreants. She is supported by Cat Noir in her mission.

Marinette is sweet, joyful, clumsy, and sometimes a bit awkward, but respected and generally popular among her peers and is extremely intelligent despite her occasional clumsy ways. She later develops romantic attraction for Luka Couffaine, but they break up and decide to remain friends. With the Ladybug Miraculous , when inhabited by Tikki , Marinette transforms into the superheroine Ladybug , gaining the power of good luck and creation to stop Hawk Moth and his Akumatized villains. He is also a fashion model for his father 's brand. With the Cat Miraculous , when it is inhabited by Plagg , Adrien transforms into the superhero Cat Noir " Chat Noir " in the French version , gaining the power of bad luck and destruction to stop Hawk Moth and his Akumatized villains. She is also the sole admin of the Ladyblog and head of the school blog. In "Sapotis", after Alya temporarily receives the Fox Miraculous from Ladybug , she, when the Miraculous is inhabited by Trixx , becomes Rena Rouge , a fox-themed superhero who helps Ladybug and Cat Noir "during particularly difficult missions" in the second season. In "The Bubbler", when Nino becomes frustrated with adults after failing to convince Gabriel Agreste to allow Adrien to have a birthday party, Hawk Moth akumatizes him into Bubbler , a bubble-wielding supervillain. In "Anansi", after Nino temporarily receives the Turtle Miraculous from Ladybug , he, when the Miraculous is inhabited by Wayzz , becomes Carapace , a turtle-themed superhero who helps Ladybug and Cat Noir "during particularly difficult missions" in the second season. In " Mayura ", during the fight with Scarlet Moth, after Rena Rouge falls victim to an akuma, Carapace is akumatized into Shell Shock a turtle-themed super villain.

However, a pleasant surprise is brought to the fore when in the episode "Backwarder", Master Wang Fu reveals that he wants Marinette to take his legacy as the Guardian forward.
