Visiting from Phoenix and wanted a slice of pizza. Came across this place on Google and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The slice is huge, mom and doms pizza, NOT greasy, cheesy and the crust was delicious! The people was so friendly and sweet.

The restaurant is operated by Gracie Mom and her Italian immigrant husband, year-old Dom, and the couple is now ready to retire. Taking over the space is Ralph Kreidly, a lifelong pizzaioli who has been operating his award-winning Big Oven Pizza as a mobile pizza business for the past three years. His concept has been voted top five pizzas in San Diego two years in a row and last year won best food truck by Best of San Diego. When it opens this spring, Big Oven Pizza will have an open kitchen where customers can watch as New York-style pizza, Neapolitan brick-oven varieties and Detroit-style square pizza are made right in front of them.
