In this episode, Mr. Krabs takes SpongeBob and Patrick to go on a treasure hunt. The episode begins at the Krusty Krab.

Krabs : As you know, profits are way down this month. We need a new gimmick to bring in customers. Do you lubbers have any ideas? SpongeBob SquarePants : How about this? A free pair of socks with every purchase. Or maybe, Double Patty Midnight Madness! Oh, oh, oh, oh!

This area is one of the most uninuitive to figure out how to proceed in the game, so read below carefully to learn how to clear this area out and get your Golden Spatula. The central grill arena is surrounded by three Ds atop Krabby Patties that spawn Robots into the arena: the left one spawns Tuber Robots, the middle one Slick Robots and the right Fodder Robots. The Ds are also protected by shields that respawn so quickly the Cruise Bubble is useless, so you'll have to get up there and hit them with the Bubble-Spin. But you may have noticed that the Krabby Patties are tall! What you can do however is defeat some of the enemies they spawn: each one will cause an ingredient of the burger holding up the D that spawns it to move out. In order to ascend, you have to destroy four of each so that you can reach the top. Okay, so now that you understand how this works, jump onto the grill and run about chasing down Fodder Robots. Destroy four of them, and the bottom bun, patty, lettuce and tomato will extend from under the right-hand D Jump up them and use a Bubble-Spin to destroy the D! You now have a nice and comfy vantage point to use the Cruise Bubble. Since the Tuber Robots can't easily be destroyed with it, instead focus your attention on the Slick Robots. Aim for the closest one and destroy it with the Cruise Bubble, then wait a few seconds for the middle D to throw another one in.

To begin, head down the path, use the Spring Leaves to get to the sandy platform, and take out the two Bzzt-Bots there. Jump across the next gap to talk to Mr. Krabs: he'll explain that to progress to this area's exit, you'll have to find three Stone Tikis and toss them onto the three pedestals. Your first one is to your left, so place that one first, then jump down to the pedestal area and open the Teleport Box on the right. Head back to the sandy platform and face the entrance to this area. Bounce to the second Spring Leaf, then face right and bounce across to a sandy path.
