The music is written in keys that are appropriate for developing voices, and all shows can be expanded to accommodate as many performers as can fit on your stage. Our minute KIDS shows are generally appropriate for performance by elementary school-aged students, and our minute JR. We've created a special license just for accredited schools grades K Restrictions may apply. A musical theatre production brings all of the art disciplines together.

The Junior Theatre Festival brings together schools and youth groups from across the UK and Europe for a day of musical theatre mayhem. Join us for a day of jazz hands and spirit fingers, and your chance to celebrate, educate, motivate and participate. Groups are rated in the areas of music, acting, dance and overall performance. The adjudicators offer constructive criticism to each group to encourage further learning in key areas. A West End star will answer questions from students and perform. Groups will rotate around THREE separate workshops, each focusing on one of the core skills; acting, singing and dancing. Dance workshops are delivered directly by West End shows, teaching the actual choreography from those shows. Group leaders will have the chance to ask questions, share experiences and learn new ways of working. Leaders will also have the opportunity to rehearse and perform a musical number on the main stage.

Student books 30 : Student books include the script and the vocal score with an introduction to musical theater and a glossary of important theater terms and vocabulary. It includes an annotated script featuring icon notes with quick tips, design resources costumes, set, sound, lighting, and props , casting resources, rehearsal resources, curriculum and community connections, and corresponding digital resource materials. The Performance Accompaniment Tracks feature professional, live musicians performing the music of the show without the singing. The Accompaniment Tracks are to be used for performance. Should the choreography include any special steps, a segment is included that breaks down those steps for performers of all levels.

From Broadway Junior musicals based on classic titles like Guys and Dolls and Oliver to beloved Disney shows like The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins, Raise Your Voice is the perfect compilation of songs to delight performers and audience members alike. While Raise Your Voice has no overarching storyline, the libretto provides fun facts about the songs to use as transitions between numbers. Licensees are encouraged to make these facts their own, like filling the transitions with interesting notes about their program or anecdotes from students. This revue is designed to celebrate the spirit of individual programs and the talents of students, encouraging them to express themselves in their own words. Whether students are costumed for a black-tie affair or in show t-shirts, there are spots in this revue for everyone to showcase what makes them special! Songs include:.
