But, their manner of nomad life and migration is quite different from their predecessors. The first thing that springs to mind about nomadic migration in our country is migration of nomads on the Taurus Mountains. These migrations are made towards low areas which have mild climate conditions in the winter and towards high areas and plateaus which have fresh pastures in the summer. Conversely, nomads of the region migrate to high areas and plateaus where climate conditions are convenient in winter and to low lands and plain areas in summer. For this reason, literature review was conducted first, and then field work was carried out and the data and results gathered were evaluated and analyzed. In the light of the analysis, it was found that the manner of nomadic migration in the region has evolved into the style conducted now because of legal barriers, technological and economical developments, social and cultural necessities and agricultural activities.
