He then remembers a moment he had with Kagaya and Amane Ubuyashiki when he was injured; Kagaya had offered him something to focus on in times of distress: one's survival. Carrying Kotetsu on his shoulder, Muichiro speeds through the forest to find the swordsmiths. He finds another fish demon about to kill Kozo and saves him. Asking for his own sword, since the one he is presently using is damaged, Kozo walks to a shed to retrieve the Mist Hashira's blade. However, Muichiro holds him back and stops him from proceeding, noting that "It's here". The demon offers a chance to chat with Muichiro before killing him, wanting to show his 'creations'.

Demon Slayer reiterates that a significant blow to the neck is the only sure-fire way to defeat a demon. Thankfully, Demon Slayer finally picks up its pace and gets its groove back when it comes to sending deadly monsters back to hell and exerting tremendous amounts of swagger while doing so. Muichiro kills gyokko
Muichiro is a young boy of fair skin and short stature with a lean muscular build along with long, straight hair of a black color that fades to pale turquoise as it approaches his waist. He wears his hair loose with two clumps protruding slightly from each side of his head, a set of marginally shorter hair left down to frame his face, and unruly bangs over his forehead. He also possesses large, empty-looking pale turquoise eyes.

Gyokko had a very bizarre and grotesque physiology, taking on the form of a pale white, abstracted, grotesque humanoid figure with a muscular upper torso that has no arms and resembles that of an armless statue growing from a porcelain vase, similar to a djinn. His midsection is a red-violet color while his lower-half, or his tail is black.
