Esteban and friends cross paths with the Saint Miguel, a Spanish warship. As Esteban, Zia and Tao walk through the mountains toward Zia's village, they are followed by two strangely dressed men. Tao finds a clue at the bottom of a well that may tell of the location of the City of Gold. Esteban is hoping to tell Kraka everything that happened on the mountain of the goddess Pacha Mama and also show him the Great Condor. Esteban, Zia and Tao find a map inside a temple that will show them the way to another city of gold, but a hooded man named Zares is also on the trail.
