They have plenty of boutique rooms, maritime restaurants, a gift shop, character meets, and even a gym, sauna, and swimming pool. As part of their offers, they have Newport Bay Compass Club level and this is what I treated myself to on my stay. Newport Bay Hotel in Disneyland Paris is one of the premium hotels that are on offer at the resort that is 4 stars. The parks run a FASTPASS system that lets you book a slot on some of the rides in advance without having to queue — you just go back at your allotted time and get on the ride much more quickly. Another bonus of staying at the Newport Bay Club Hotel was that our kids could meet Disney characters in the hotel as well as at the parks! And if you fancied a date night during your stay, you can book a babysitting service through the hotel — provided by an external, Paris-based company.

Directly on the quaint cobblestones of Thames Street, the hotel is a nice value option for families due to its 36 spacious suites with full kitchens or kitchenettes, sitting areas, and parking for one car. The suites are situated on top of a retail level which houses a small but modern fitness center and business center -- the usage of both are included in the room rate, and there are some conveniently located coffee shops and delis in lieu of a restaurant at the hotel. For a small fee guests can use the Newport Athletic Club pool, but it is a to minute drive away. The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina has an equally convenient location with an on-site pool, restaurant, and marina -- though there is a daily parking fee and no fitness center there. Housed in a stone building between the quaint cobblestone streets of Thames Street and stunning harbor views, the Newport Bay Club is ideally situated for families and couples looking for a reasonably priced starting point to exploring Newport.

This review features room photos, thoughts on its quality, and our experience of staying at the hotel. Recently, the resort underwent a massive, top to bottom refurbishment that lasted multiple years and renovated every single guest room, restaurant, shop, and even the convention center. Prior to that refurbishment, Newport Bay Club was in rough shape. I have photos showing the visibly dilapidated siding as well as the rough-looking lounge. The hotel looked brand new, and we were eager to book a room. For starters, we consider that price to be excellent and rare for Newport Bay Club. While that remained true this trip when pricing our stay out through the official Disneyland Paris website, we noticed hotels. All three hotels were designed by Robert A. Stern Architects, and styled after classic New England beach cottage architecture.
