No aio pump header on motherboard
AIO coolers coming today but I already checked my motherboard manual and the cooler manual and they both say two different things. Would this cause any issues with being able to control the RPM of the pump or fans? So the fans are controller by AIO's control program. Read the AIO manual. Connect the fan header on the pump to AIO pump. You want the Pump having be continuous RPMs all the time to ensure great flow. Exactly what Bad Motha said. PWM is not only bad for flow, it's really irritating to listen to as it ramps up and down all crazy on some boards. You can usually adjust the pump speed via bios or software if you want to turn it down later. And motherboards also often require something connected or it will tell you there isn't a cpu fan connected and refuse to boot. And it's mainly meant for custom loop pumps.

No aio pump header on motherboard
Hello, I've just finished building my second build. First being 8 years ago and not as complicated as this new one which makes use of the iCUE Hi Elite. I just not sure if the connections I have the fans in are the best way they should be in. So far I haven't had any issues except for the computer being a bit noisy. I had to mount the radiator at the front of the case since it wouldn't fit at the top because it would hit the memory. I have 3 LL fans mounted at the front that came with the case, then the radiator and then the 2 fans that came with the Hi Elite at the other side, basically sandwiching the radiator between fans. All fans positioned as intake. I have 2 LL fans mounted on the top and 1 LL fan mounted on the back all positioned as exhaust.

Excelso Jul 29, Cooling 2. You want the radiator fans reacting directly to CPU temperature, not to any motherboard thermal diode temperatures or anything else. However there is a glaring issue! Search instead for. AMD Series. I created a diagram using an actual product image of my mobo to show where my fans are located and how they are currently connected, since I think that would help someone understand more easily. This is exactly why I absolutely dispise software activity for cooling. Gaming Gear. Audioboxer Replies. AIO pump header on motherboard? Replies 46 Views 3K. All I can tell you is that you can get either the bit or bit software from the download page, you need the bit, and run the installer to install the software along with the included Asetek USB Controllers driver..
