So, I have read the rules and have noticed that there are no rules stating that you can kill on sight and you instead have to initiate with the person in order to kill them. The question I have is: does this rule apply to military locations and areas of high people concentration? If it does not I feel like it very much should. All my time I have spent in DayZ has taught me to be hostile with people holding guns in their hands at military locations and not to be friendly with them. With this system of having to initiate with people, someone could just run through the middle of the airfield or in the middle of a field and not have to worry about being shot because you have to go and talk to them in order to kill them.

Go to topic listing. I have had the drop on so many people so far that I could have killed and I wanted to kill but I couldn't because I had to initiate and what am I supposed to say?
