So it may be providing juuust enough input to cause a movement command to be constantly issued. One way this can happen is if you have your controller sitting with its sticks slightly pressed when it is turned on. Usually it will zero itself then, but if the sticks are not in a centered position, then when you pick it up and the sticks do center, they are really off center. I hope this makes sense.

I can do a full backup but there is always the risk of data that was saved in windows 10 not being compatible with Windows Or just not running PC VR programs until the functionality becomes compatible or windows 10 legacy mode is made available- which would be a significant waste of resources as my RTX Razer Blade Pro 15 just doesn't get used with VR programs.
