Old ping putters

Was checking out my local Goodwill and thought I had struck out but saw an old putter tucked under a few other clubs and took a glance at it but upon further inspection saw a VERY old PING logo and picked it up, old ping putters. I see putters with stamped numbers on the bottom of the putter are listed for MUCH more than standard putters but I haven't seen another 69 FTL with a number stamp on the bottom like this one does and I haven't seen any 69 FTL with Scottsdale markings, they all seem to have Phoenix markings. Any and all help is much appreciated to help me figure out what I have, old ping putters. From a little digging the grip is an original Golf Pride "Informer" pistol grip with the green lettering, it has the remnants of the original Tuned Ballnamic label on the shaft, has the 11 stamped on bottom of heel, is a Scottsdale old ping putters before the move to Phoenix.

In January of , Karsten Solheim designed the Anser putter, a model so successful that PING celebrated its 50th anniversary in see story below. The idea came to him, as inspiration often does, in a flash. He sketched the design on the dust jacket of a 78 rpm record. The cavity-back putter also featured a low center of gravity and lines parallel to the face to help golfers in squaring the putter. All he needed now was a name.
