Whereas Russell Street is a cozy spot with 45 seats, the Victor location will be roughly twice as large. It will seat 75, and will also have an area for outdoor dining. And while the original location does not serve alcohol, the Victor location will have a full bar.

It was this 'no frills' approach to fast, delicious Mexican that Joe missed about his hometown. The colors, tastes and textures spoke to me and the food was so comforting. OPG is a culmination of everything I loved about my hometown's unique food heritage. It's also what I missed most about my hometown. Joe moved to Rochester in to be closer to his aging grandmother. The Victor location was first announced in February , when Zolnierowski signed the lease for the space. The rest, of course, is familiar history. Work on the space halted with the pandemic shutdowns. After that, construction stopped and started due to delays in materials and equipment. The new location, in the HighPoint development off Route 96 in Victor, Ontario County, has a colorful, casual vibe much like the first.

After more than two years, things finally seem to be getting back on track for Chef Joe Zolnierowski. He has expanded Old Pueblo Grill, his restaurant in the Neighborhood of the Arts, and is on track to fully reopen in late June.
