Our parent company Teak Isle Mfg, a 35 year supplier to the marine industry, was faced with cutting its workforce during the holidays. The hard fact was that fewer people were buying boats and the holiday months were going to be extremely slow. While brainstorming ways to keep our employees working, we remembered years back cutting Nativity Sets for a local Christmas tree farm. We decided to revisit the design to make it extra-durable and easily disassemble for compact storage and shipping.
