The Ozarks, in a word, are splendid. The Ozark Trail system contains more than miles of trails, divided into mostly linked sections; plus, a number of spur trails for extra opportunities to hike, cycle and ride horses — most of the trail is multi-use some areas are restricted use. The Ozark Trail system will take away the stress and leave a smile on your face. You encounter a variety of terrain, forests, springs, crystal-clear streams, shut-ins and waterfalls, bluffs riddled with caves and true wilderness areas.
