Cylinder 2 Misfire code P Drove 5 miles home without issue. What am I in for? What do I need to look for? Able to drive it? Dealer can't see it for 3 weeks due to tech shortage. P is a real drivability concern and should be dealt with right away. Repairing P should be considered a high priority. The most common fix for P is to replace the spark plugs, coil packs, or if equipped plug wires. But, where is the second cylinder? There are quite a few things that can cause the P trouble code to trigger in the Jeep Wrangler. Here are the most common problems that may cause misfiring. They are presented somewhat in order from most to least likely to be causing P If P is the only code you get when you plug an OBD II scanner into your Wrangler, this section should help you determine what is causing the code. Swap ignition parts to another cylinder. The most likely reason your Wrangler will get P and P simultaneously is faulty spark plugs.

The Jeep was on and I was on my rock rails tugging on the straps and the jeep was rocking and and I heard a chime went down to the interior and the check engine light came on.
