If the OP can find a good independent Subaru specialist, he may get a better deal. Make sure the connectors are dry. Check the main harness connector and make sure there's no bent pins or pushed out pins. Log in. Once again, the car worked fine for a couple of days then started having issues again which could be due to the aluminum foil changing size and getting out of tolerance. I would try the sensor and shim kit. How ever many sensors it does have, where are their locations and are they different part numbers? So the camshaft has metal bumps on it that come within range of the sensor, the computer senses the electrical change and uses that as its reference.
