Last year at this time her car threw CEL code P I fixed this problem by replacing the gas cap. The light went off and all was good. Recently ive been getting the same CEL issue. I tried cleaning the gas cap area extensively and greasing the rubber o-ring on the gas cap to help with the seal. It has not cleared the issue. Has anyone had evap issues in the past?

This morning after checking the code and doing some research I cleaned the gas filler tube real well with p0441 jeep compass steal wool with some paper towels in the tube to keep junk from going into the tank.
