Thread Tools. Hi all, desperately seeking help. My crv wouldnt shift past second gear. It would shift fine until I drove it a few miles then it wouldnt go into gear at all unless I cut car off and back on. My mechanic uncle suggested just buying used tranny.

No matter what I shifted it in it was still in neutral. After turning it off and back on I could drive a few tenths of a mile before it shifted itself back into neutral. It Shows The car has been running and shifting perfectly over the 2k miles I've driven it. A trouble code P is usually accompanied by another P07xx series code.
