Anyone experience this code, and if so, was it fixed via the Evap purge valve near the engine, or the EVAP canister purge check valve, located on top of the fuel tank? I reset it once, and it has come back after about a week of driving. The thread on EVAP nightmares has no-one mentioning this code.

I think the p06e9 weak starter performance is just due to my battery being old, I still have the oem battery from From what I have read the pc is the purge valve needing to be replaced, js there an upgraded part or should I just get something off rockauto. The next is to change canister valve and check hoses down by fuel cell. Mine also is causing idle issues.

The truck has p144c code, miles. I couldn't really get a solid answer on the route cause of the code.

I know it is an Evap System Leak Large Leak and I have already cleaned my capless gas tank inlet and it seems to have helped for some time 3 months or so but I am getting the reading again. I have seen conflicting messages on what to replace to resolve this.

Thread Tools. Booster ' Hey guys. New to the site. My truck has been giving the code PC. I searched around and found that it has to do with the EVAP system and possibly think that it's the purge valve, but not sure. I searched around on the forum, but couldn't find any threads associated to this specifically. I've got a , F, Ecoboost. Any suggestions?

I am in Canada and the car is within 3 year warranty so hopefully they would cover it. They replaced the purge valve, and cleared the code. Check Engine light on, but no code CX This could be yet another instance of a tech being so dependent on their diagnostic OBD tool, that they won't even try searching an outside source for additional information. The same codes came back 3 times now since trying to clean out the existing fuel closure. Anyone who has spent a lot of time working in IT, knows that programmers routinely copy blocks of code, instead of writing everything from scratch.
