First things first, Bollywood is back. Shah Rukh Khan is back. The problem of carrying off a two-and-half hour film is evident in the places where you stifle a yawn yes, it can happen even when everything is galloping along at break-neck speed. Trust us, we got it the first time. But the slack is gathered up quickly enough: an entire train is commandeered in the service of a special featuring Pathaan and a keffiyeh-sporting spy whose trademark moves had the audience roaring. And then there is that song which created such a controversy weeks before it hit the theatres.

U replace srk with any other star and movie will go down for sure. Story is same overdone time and again, some villains create a deadly virus, and now hero has to save the world. However, the exceptional performances, well-executed action, and engrossing storytelling compensate for these minor shortcomings. The director of the movie miserably failed to effectively utilise the asset named srk he had at his disposal. It was nothing short of celebrating true stardom with two superstars being in one frame in their best possible avatars. Kiran also shared her love for Aamir's mother and how they all live in close proximity. This movie is like MI on steroids, kinda like how the leads are. So much so that I found it irritating after a while. This is almost like those parody movies Hollywood produces for the blockbusters except the makes themselves too seriously and try to make you think like they are seasoned filmmakera who knows what they are doing.
