Persona 5 okumura boss fight
As a remaster of Persona 5Persona 5 Royal has upgraded Palaces and added new phases to the original boss fights. Notably, Kunikazu Okumura of the fifth Palace persona 5 okumura boss fight gained a difficulty spike that can make him extremely frustrating for some to defeat. What's worse is he's the first and thankfully last boss fight to have a timer counting down. If players can't defeat him within 30 minutes, they'll get an instant game over.

Persona 5 okumura boss fight
But how to beat the Okumura boss?! When I reached this point in P5R , I was blindsided. Everything was so different. I could no longer trigger an all-out attack. Worse, there was a time limit for the overall fight. The clock was ticking. But the redesigned Okumura boss is a steaming pile of brokenness. Okay, this is going to sound completely counter-intuitive, but it will help you enormously. The problem is, the game seems to be trying to encourage you to harness the baton pass mechanic, i. However, call me stupid but I could never work out how to beat the Okumura boss on Normal. Oh I could target their weaknesses just fine, but no amount of chaining allowed me to kill all the shadows within the two-round time limit. So the first round of enemies is weak to fire and wind. The second round is weak to psychic.
I switched to merciless and took the robot waves out laughably easily; the big black robot was brutal though. That's a battle against the time, you'll have four groups of employers plus a robot to finnish withing the time. Maybe I was to weak for that battle sonInhad to switch back to normal.

Kunikazu Okumura is a character from Persona 5. Kunikazu is a bespectacled older man who wears a business suit and an orange and brown checkerboard ascot under a white shirt. Shadow Kunikazu wears a mostly black, form-fitting spacesuit with the same colors as his undershirt, and has turquoise skin. Unlike most bosses, he does not have a demon form as Mammon ; he instead calls out a floating chair before radioing a group of robots to protect him. Kunikazu is an ambitious and career-focused professional who is always chasing his next victory. However, for his daughter, his employees and his fellow higher ups, his ambitions come with a complete, deliberate ignorance of the pain he causes to his company or his family. No matter how many scandals Okumura Foods faces due to its poor safety practices and punishing work hours or how obviously unhappy Haru is with his manipulations, Kunikazu refuses to let his nobler passions influence his business, instead behaving as ruthlessly as he feels he must to get ahead in the world. In fact, his Shadow Self admits that he sees nothing wrong with using Haru as a political pawn, as he believes it is mandatory to use whatever means to gain fame for his own profit, and becomes furious when he realizes Haru is "betraying" him with the assistance of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts because she fully realized that she has been used as a political pawn against her own will. His overambitious investments and business ventures led to his death, as not only did he refuse to return to his real self after his defeat to enact his change of heart , the Black Mask promptly finishes him off due to his political campaign being the only obstacle against Shido's path to becoming prime minister.
Persona 5 okumura boss fight
Persona 5 Royal took the relatively easy Okumura boss and made it one of the most challenging tests in the entire game. It becomes one of the most frustrating experiences since the boss isn't exactly trying to take the player out, choosing instead to hold them up long enough so he doesn't have to fight. Players have to prepare thoroughly for a fight that they most likely breezed through in the original title, dealing as much damage to as many enemies as possible in order to end the fight before time runs out.

If a robot self-destructs, it does not count as a "defeat," meaning the cycle will restart. Last edited by MasterKroket ; 12 Jan, pm. This almost feels something a developer did out of spite Guys.. Players should get into the habit of using Dekaja or Baptismal Water and buff spells so that all of the robots take equal damage. Thank you for this helpful guide! Dealing with the varying enemy types is irritating but not impossible. Next, they'll want to use Haru's Mapsio to Down the enemies and then proceed to take them out as quickly as possible. Some geospatial data on this website is provided by geonames. You'll want a full-team Baton Pass to take them down. With more affinities than weaknesses, this fight becomes next to impossible if you don't exploit the weaknesses of the Corporobos. Change language. Let me know how you get on. Kamoshida's Palace. For some reason nothing resists them, so you should be able to get more damage from them.

With each wave of four enemies you have two rounds of turns. Nice, thanks Jristan! Thanks for the super helpful tips! The best way to fight Okumura is to have a team set up in advance. This is where the fun begins. Players should use Makoto's Mafrei or Ryuji's Mazio to take care of these bots. This boss fight is one of the longest and most frustrating ones in the entire game, with a single mistake causing almost half an hour of work and effort to go completely down the drain. In the winning try he never got around to it. HA0U 3 years ago 9. Early Confidants spoilers maybe. So the first round of enemies is weak to fire and wind.
