Every year it seems like one company after another hypes up the release of their ping g15 driver yet to the point almost no one even listens anymore, ping g15. Because every year so many of them fall short of their promises and claims.

If the G10 provides maximum forgiveness then what do you call an iron that provides even more forgiveness? PING calls it the G For me, I imagine the silky smooth feel of the sweet spot. I visualize the ball curving through the air at will. I can almost see the ball falling to the green with just enough spin to bounce twice and then stop. They might look down desperately searching for that microscopic sweet spot, trembling at the thought of the painful reverberations of a mis-hit.

The Ping G15 Irons are certainly a case of evolution not revolution and Ping have not forgotten the traits that made the G10 irons so appealing to so many people. We liked the G10 irons and we were hopeful that the G15 irons would be even better. In our tests the G15 irons were a delight to hit. They were very forgiving right across the face and the full cavity graphics badge did its job in enhancing the feel and sound of the club at impact. For mid to high handicappers these clubs are ideal and are available in sets from 3 iron through to sand wedge. I borrowed my father's G 15 orange dot graphite soft regular shaft irons today. I've never used them before and used to play to a 10 handicap for years. Only my 3rd round of golf in two years, these irons just blew my mind! Playing in 8 degree winter weather and hard fairways with little grass, I hit the irons unbelievably high and with a draw. Extremely accurate and also I could work the ball to fade or draw at will. I've never drawn the ball from a long right, then draw back at the flag.

The G15 irons are comically forgiving. Using maroon dot, regular shaft. Thanks for the details. In fact, PING is calling the G15 their longest and most forgiving hybrid to date, thanks to the previously mentioned toe pad. So was I impressed with the G15? The G10 does just that. Launching the ball off the deck was extremely easy. I had tended to lean the shaft well forward and that compounded my error, plus delofted the club. Like I said this was the underdog and it came out a winner. You would almost have to eliminate the advertising influence like Consumer Reports. It is hard not to like it when it hits it straight and goes long and feels great at contact. The result seemed to be almost the same feel and same trajectory with every shot. I watched his youtube video and it was an eye opening experience!

I love the fitting cart and the color coded scale Ping created years ago that make sure every golfer can get the exact lie angle needed for maximum performance.

Unfortunately i cant find a place where i can hit both and see the ball flight and distance. Very forgiving with high launches. Thanks CJ P.
