Recently, I decided to take the dive and make some art of my own. Aseprite seems to pixel art 100x100 the editor of choice for animated pixel art though. Picking a canvas size is daunting.

You can change the download dimensions of the drawing by moving the slider left and right. To use your custom font: Select the font 'Custom' under the dropdown menu within the options panel. Mmm an overload of sprites to reference and study from one of my favorite artists, and 4 days after my birthday. Oh my gosh! I love this. I don't know most of the characters - but I do know a handful of them. There are so many cute ones in there, too. You wouldn't happen to have a list of the characters names on grid in the same fashion, would you? A lot of people try to rip your style off, but their clusters just aren't as good as these.
