How reliable are Planet X bikes? November edited December in Road buying advice. I've been searching for bikes and Planet X seem to be one of the cheapest out there! But I've recently heard some stories from fellow cyclists about the bikes breaking very easily like fork cracking after running over a pothole. Are these story's believable? If someone who's had a Planet X bike for a while could answer this, it would be really helpful! November I've got three. None have broken yet. In the same time my mates s works has had a broken frame and a broken fork. Any bike will have stories about breakages.
