Crimson Dance offers much higher bleed dps, which is great for bosses and tanky rares, but the bleed off of a single Earthquake is less. You can somewhat compensate for this by properly using Vaal Earthquake to quickly stack your Crimson Dance. How, however, do you think we can make the keystone work better without making it mandatory for any bleed build? Crimson dance needs a specific build to be effective, if you can't keep the stacks to max it's not worth it, you're better off just using the regular bleed and let the mobs move to kill themselves.
