Hello, my friend told me to get Prime Volt for Eidelon hunting, however, I don't feel like spending platinum on a frame I already have. Is base Volt able to do Eidelons? Also, any other cheaper Primes I can use? We've never done an Eidelon before and I prefer playing support, so something like Wisp or Trinity would be something I'd enjoy playing, Thank you! There is basically no difference between a Warframe and it's Prime variant, only some minor stat changes.

In order to obtain [Volt Prime] one must open a variety of relics that contain his Blueprint, Chassis, Systems, and Neuroptics in order to make him at the foundry. Because of this, the builds on him will require 2 forma. As a support he is great for providing cover from enemy fire with shields that also grant damage buffs, provides speed and reload buffs, and deals long lasting electrical stuns that can restore shields with [Capacitance]. As a Damage dealer he is great for locking down multiple enemies in a large area, as well as killing them off fast for easy progression through defense missions or just as a way to kill off multiple enemies. Volt Prime has been buffed compared to the Original Volt. These buffs would be:. Passive - [Volt] 's Passive makes it so while traveling he will build up static energy, which adds bonus Electricity Damage towards [Volt] 's next Weapon Attack or Ability cast. Otherwise, just adding more damage to your other abilities are nice as well! Shock - [Volt] 's First Ability shoots out a shocking projectile that stuns and deals high damage to a single target and chains damage to nearby enemies. This ability is a little lack luster though, unless used with its augmentation to give bonus Electricity Damage against the Corpus Faction mainly, but can be used realistically against any. However, in Eidolon Hunts, this ability is amazing with its augmentation and helps dish out a great amount of damage for you and your allies. Speed - [Volt] 's Second Ability energizes the surrounding area that increases the mobility of himself and his allies with a Speed and Reload Buff. With his augmentation, [Shocking Speed] , it allows him and his allies to inflict Electricity damage and statuses as they touch enemies. This ability is amazing for getting around the map very quickly and is used primarily in the Gotta Go Fast build.

Volt is one of Warframe's three starting characters, utilizing the power of electricity to disintegrate enemies and empower his allies. Out of the starters, Volt is arguably the most versatile of the bunch. He runs fast, deals solid damage, and can support his team with overshields and electric barriers. With that power comes great compromise.

In addition to the small higher energy stats, in the prime versions, there is a very important one, the fashionframe. I just maxed Zenurik's first focus way which will now be active while i have Madurai active which speeds operator energy recovery so this will likely skew my ability to cast the shield more regularly so I won't be able to continue with a somewhat direct comparison. This is an extremely large AOE stun that can assist allies that are quite some distance away from you and makes every mission much easier to handle, that is as long as you can handle the massive Base Energy needed for this ability.
