I've been to this show several times, but I was surprised to see the line to get in was so long! Half an hour the after the doors opened, the line stretched across the two exhibit buildings, around the corner, and halfway down the length of the second exhibit building. I'm glad the line moved quickly! I waited in line about fifteen minutes, but it was awfully cold! If it's a multiple day show, and you're buying a long gun, you can just go back the next day and pick it up. OK if you're local, not if it's a mile trip. For handguns or for last day purchases, there's usually some provision for the firearms to be made available at that location for pickup after waiting periods have been satified. Still inconvenient as all get out and needs to be fixed. Right after RTC and state wide pre-emption.

If the dealer is not local, you have to figure out how to get the gun when the waiting period is up.
