Connections is a NYT game that involves grouping words together that have a common thread. You are presented with 16 words within a grid and the goal is to get four groups each containing four connected words. There is one Connections puzzle per day. I have written this article about tips and tricks for Connections. The three benefits of Puzzgrid are that anyone can submit a puzzle including yourself , there are virtually unlimited puzzles to solve and you can filter puzzles through difficulty, quality rating and country of origin.

Then they have to identify what the words in each of the 4 groups have in common. Another option is to use the PuzzGrid website, which is full of user-submitted games. You can challenge yourself or your students to play the ones that are already posted, or submit your own. Please do not choose Yes above. Your grid will still be accessible at the URL.
