Race change wotlk

Looks like it is grayed out for me after purchasing.

Simple question, were we allowed to race change come to WOTLK back in the day, and will they allow this come this year? Well it come out this year? No It will likely come out next year with Wrath Classic. We still have three phases to go through in TBC. You can race change any time you want. Gotta cash in on all these undead players going human. Race Change was introduced six weeks before patch ICC 3.

Wotlk is kinda fresh, so people who RLY wanted to play fotm race just bought the 50 euro boost package. Allthough i can see your point, i can assure you there are alot of people who are willing to buy the race change. Even if more people would buy the level boost, there are still those who would rather spend cash on a race change. Blizz could benefit from both groups. Would be good to get this service because a lot of realms are super unbalanced. I play on Thekal as an alliance but all my friends joined Golemagg as hordes. I find it a bit frustrating to be playing on such a low population realm with dead economy and cannot play with my friends on my main. The only solution is to level up another one. I have no idea why Blizzard is delaying race change from this game… I made mistake at start and made blood elf DK. Now i have constant debuff in raids because my race is bad in PVE. Please can you do something about this? This is just making gaming experience really bad for some ppl….

I wonder if you can Faction change, then Faction change back to Race change But yes. It's neat to see Blizz try to take 3 positions at the same time. But if they have them, make them once per account, restrictive, maybe with a cooldown. Retail player position: These services are sold in retail and aren't destroying games and communities, but instead helping to bring them together. Shareholder position: Why aren't you squeezing these hopelessly addicted subscribers for every penny they have? They're constantly begging us to take their money!

The developers took a seat at the table and the players successfully changed their mind. Blizzard is reversing its earlier decision, and will now allow race and class changes in Wrath Classic. But of course this change comes with some caveats. Name changes, which Blizzard always planned to include, will be available at launch.
