RateYourMusic is a terrible site I've been off this site for a while, but in the mean time I tried to use RateYourMusic as another place to read reviews and get other perspectives and reviews for music. And they also tend to rate more obscure music than the average user would. I tend to have high ratings instead of low because I'll most likely listen to albums that I think I will like.
