I hope to see more fun stuff from ya! But in the end, that this happened in the first place is a condemnation upon us as a fandom and our lack of social awareness and forethought. A few years ago the spew of 4chan and associated internet nazis figured out they could split queer communities by posing as social justice accounts and moralizing over the implications of fetishes. And when they're well thought out and respectable, I think they should be welcomed and heard. Policing queer people as "groomers" is just the classic right wing "gay are pedos coming for your children" shit repackaged for a modern audience. Be it underage or not, art is art and if people don't like what you create that's on them. I would never make these mistakes again though ; i learnt from them and i know that what i wrote when i was younger was the product of what i was dealing with.

Now, I can't speak for anyone's experiences other than mine, but what made me vulnerable were promises of being wanted and loved. Even in fantasy, the emotional impact can be intense on the observer, and thus those who have such intense reactions should be heard and respected. They might not be your best work, but School Daze and The Deep Dark were some of the first pieces of smut I read back when I was suicidal, depressed, and struggling with both my sexuality and obsessive-compulsive disorder senior year of high school.
